The Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition is the largest show of its kind within the Asia Pacific region.

The exhibition brings together some of the biggest movers and shakers in the industry, matching a long list of impressive international exhibitors and suppliers, supported by the presence of some of the industries elite, senior government officials as well as military and civil delegates.

Held biennially since its first show back in 1991, LIMA has been an ideal platform for industry stakeholders and exhibitors to showcase & expand their partnership.

The exhibition also offers exciting discussions, conferences, as well as business forums that provides access to invaluable information in bid to help businesses stay ahead of all the latest tech and gadgets available as well as providing a healthy platform for competitors to do better and to seize new opportunities in Asia Pacific’s dynamic market.

The recent LIMA 2017 exhibition was held last week, from the 21st – 25th of March 2017 at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre, Langkawi – Aerospace Resorts World, Langkawi – Maritime.

The expected visitors target was set to 40,000, an achievable number as 2015 recorded 39,683 visitors to the exhibition.

The exhibition from the 21st – 23rd of March was a close door event for Trade Visitors only however, public visitors who were interested to learn more about the industry could take part in it by purchasing tickets priced at RM10.00. The 24th – 25th of March were opened to everyone for free.

Those in attendance on the last day of the event were treated with an impressive maritime demonstration by the international exhibitors.

This year’s LIMA exhibition saw over 550 companies and 38 exhibitors in attendance, an increase from last year which saw 515 companies and 36 exhibitors present.
